some of the words. Then she was all teary and the judges went really easy on her. Did something happen that I am not aware of?

I think they didn't want to bring it up to attract the sympathy vote. They will probably tell us tonight becuase the judges went easy on her.

I loved how the judges begrudgingly congratulated Anthony's good performances. Carrie kind of sucked hard last night. She proved just how white she is with her second song.

He has not once said anything bad about her. He did say something about her hair and dress before, but never her singing.

the show all season was last night . . . when he told Carrie:

...I gotta tell ya, I love your sig line. That exchange is classic!

My favorite line to use in everyday situations: when someone asks why I did or didn't do something, I go: "Uh, you know, man, there's a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-yous..." Hardly anybody gets it, but at least I'm amusing myself.

16. I had read a couple of things this morning

suggesting that either her father had been diagnosed with cancer, or that a fan of hers that she had seen personally a few weeks back had just died as the result of cancer. No confirmation of either of these stories; just Internet rumors to this point.

20. Vonzelle is my favorite

I was surprised at her first performance because it was so less than what she usually does. I figured she was sick and was happy that Paula was bringing something up to explain it. Then when she cried like she did (not some casual tears but uncontrollable stuff) I immediately thought that someone had died or was dying. Considering the amount of compassion the judges and that douchebag Seacrest showed her I think it has to be something big. I really wanna know.

She was so great on her last song that I really hope that she does get some sympathy votes. I think it should be the two girls in the final and I would be happy with either winning.

29. Her mom was on local tv tonight

She said there was nothing major that had happened. Vonzelle is very close to her family and she usually gets to spend a few hours with them on Mondays. She relies on that time to regroup and relax. This Monday the producers wouldn't let her see them, so when Vonzelle saw her dad in the audience, and when Paula asked if she was ok, she just fell apart.

I think they just become very close over the weeks. He does seem like a nice guy.
