Last night's Padres game only lasted 1:58.
The third shortest 9-inning game in MLB history.

Brian lawrence pitched a 2 hit gem with Trevor saving it in the 9th.
Lawrence is either "stellar" or he gets shelled and the Padres still cant hit.
Hopefully Alderson will makes some moves, to bring some productive bats to the Friar lineup.
He should dump Sean Burroughs, who in spite of his physically large presence, cant hit the long-ball. Big third basemen MUST hit with a little power, and he aint doi it!

2. I hope that they are coming out of their skid.
I'm not looking forward to another long Padres season.
Now when they trade up for some big bats.....

I was at a game in Baltimore a few years ago (I think against TB) that lasted less than an hour -- are you sure 1:58 is the third shortest in history?? In any event, it's really cool to be there when a game is flying by.

P.S. I'm getting tired about hearing how Burroughs is going to be this great "pure" hitter. If he has no power -- fine -- but that means he needs to be in the HIGH .300s every year, similar to Wade Boggs and Tony Gwynn.
