transmition and overall quality outstanding, and it makes you feel as though you have been launched from an aircraft carrier at take off.............

23. Doesn't matter to me
I grew up with automatic transmission - can possibly drive a stick (taught myself how while working for a florist), but learned that every stick shift is different - and the older ones can be testy.

cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy drives (or at least used to drive) a VW Bug with a pistol grip as a stick shift. Nifty little novelty.

But then again, we're both guys.

24. Oh, yes. Absolutely.
Especially (and this is NOT a sex-thread comment, just a personal weakness) if she's wearing a skirt.

IT'S NOT A SEX THREAD COMMENT, because it doesn't have to be a short skirt. Especially given that there's even more va-voom factor if she's wearing a coat.

Yes, I'm a bit odd. So shoot me.

Oh. You wanted an explanation. I guess it's because it means or at least implies that she's not afraid to do things that are considered by some to be "guy things."

Meaning she has self-confidence, and how can that not be appealing in a woman? Or a man, for that matter?

25. If they live in the city, they'll have beefy calves from constant clutch
use. That means they'll have very nice legs, so yes.

Plus, women whom have manual transmissions are women that might be driving a muscle car, which means...

THE RACE IS AWWWWN!!!

40. I always wondered how a person would know what you
drive, when it's out in the parking lot or the street, while you are in the place meeting "the guy" or "the girl"? I have a customer that buys cars depending on what he thinks will attract the girls in the bar, and I asked him how the hell would they know what he was driving? He just shrugged? So that is still a question I wonder.

But I sure get better gas mileage with my 5-speed Celica (convertible). I hate automatics and they're getting harder and harder to come by.
