I remember the song but I don't remember that ep.

2. I think it was the one where they first realized that they had

crash-landed on an atomic island test site. I can only remember how freaky it was for them to come out of the jungle and find these manikins having a picnic.

It was a nuke test site. The mannikins were waiting for a bomb that never fell. The new people ate their canned goods.

Amazing what useless info can still be dredged outta my skull.

Years ago, that program popped into my mind (for whatever reason) and I asked someone if they remembered "The New People". They didn't. It has become a kind of "grail" thing for me, in a completely stupid way, to ask everyone or anyone if they remembered that show. This is the first time that I have found anyone who will admit that they remember it! I feel like Sir Robin at the bridge...
