3. I'm good thanks
For about the third week in a row, I've got an empty office on Thursday ( :bounce: ). Lunch time is fast approaching - which is very good).

Also starting at quarter to five, I have a four-day week-end to play with.

4. lucky you
I took yesterday off and fortunately tomorrow is Friday already, so weekend is approaching soon.

What are your plans for the long weekend? May 1st is a holiday here ... unfortunately it is a Sunday

6. You lose the holiday?
We always keep it on the first Monday in May, and I don't normally work on Fridays either.

I haven't got any major plans - there's a lot for me to do at home, I hope that the weather will be good enough to get into the garden a bit, though tradition dictates rain on holiday week-ends.

but then we get up to 30 days vacation time. I guess that makes up a lot.

17. more information
The cardiologist said that I might feel a little light headed and dizzy until I adjust to the prescriptions he wants me to take for a while. Dizzy seems about normal:shrug: but I was becoming aware of feelings other than dizziness. I just wanted reassurance that nothing more was going on.

21. happier
Dr. D suggested the prescription dosage could be reduced but if I could tolerate the discomfort it would be best to leave things as they are. I was worried because I didn't understand why I was feeling so yucky but now I'm not ~ so it was a worthwhile trip.

23. I'm sure he didn't realize how sensitive my body is
I haven't taken any prescription drugs in so many years that my body is saying :wtf: I don't want all of the strange chemicals in here! So I'm going to have to change my eating habits or the time that I'm taking the pills. Plus the lightheartedness and dizziness should go away by itself as my body adjusts to a proper blood pressure again.

13. Are you still counting really?
Once I hit 1000, I felt like I had accomplished something. I found out that it didn't matter later. Before the 1000 mark, I had met so many wonderful people on DU. Since hitting the 1000 mark, I have met even more wonderful people on DU. It's the community and comraderie that matters most to me now. Just my $.02 worth there. Of course, if your goal is to reach that 3000 mark, I would be more than happy to chat with you and help you reach that goal. You are one of the people I have met on here who I think is wonderful to talk to.

And thank you. I can give that compliment back at (to?) you

15. Now, if you want a real distraction,
check out the latest in my battles with the right wingnuts that control my area of the country. I'm absolutely furious at this point by the dress code forcing women to wear dresses with no exceptions for graduation. Wearing a cap and gown, seems to make their stupid rule even more ridiculous as the gown will cover any clothing underneath. And a nice pant suit is like breaking one of the ten commandments to this bunch. If you want a link to the thread. Pm Me and I'll be glad to send it to you. If you want to talk about it here, well, that's up to you. I know it's keeping me awake past by bed time. I want to scream at them. I'm actually kind of surprised by all this.
