4. Another vote for Freedonia
Not only was it the country in "Duck Soup", it was also the name of the country John Lennon proposed founding. Did you know that "Nux Vomica" was a phony country in a Three Stooges movie? It was near "Hangovia".

36. Hail, Hail Freedonia!
Does anybody have the complete lyrics to Groucho's "Rules of my administration?" If I recall them correctly, they sound a lot like Shrub: "If you think the country's in bad shape now, just 'till I get through with it."

The evil country in Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang (written by Ian Fleming, lest we forget)

I love it in the movie where Gert Frobe is mounting the gangway to the Balloon from the state-owned airline "Vulg-air"

Fredonia's a close second.

Bacteria (the country ruled by the Mussoliniesque "Benzino Naploini" in "The Great Dictator")
