Which kind of person do you prefer and why?

The more idealistic person who says what in some views might be propaganda, or the more hard-edged realist who understands the score?

1. I'd prefer someone who can be both,

as the situation warrants. And who is conscious enough to make the choice of which to be, and conscious enough to know that he can make, and remake that choice minute by minute, day by day.

In other words, NOT someone who just is what he is by robotic rote.
