Ishka is having kittens RIGHT NOW!!!!

We just went outside to feed the outdoor kitties, and Eddie came out from under the table where she had her kittens 2 weeks ago, and then out came Ishka (Eddie's sister) with a tiny newborn kitty still attached to her!!!!

Eddie hissed at us, and both cats went back under the table. Everything seems to be going okay.

3 weeks ago Wednesday, Eddie had 2, both black with white footsies like their mom. Ishka is white with three gray stripes on top of her head, and the little guy we saw was pitch black.

What do Isis' babies look like?

5. Two are mostly black, like Bad Tom, the suspected father.

One is white with black spots and two are almost twins, mostly white with tan caps and tails. It should be noted that all five have well-developed vocal abilities. The new mom is coping well.

She's all nice and cleaned up, and she worked her way through the better part of a can of tuna. Eddie's helping take care of things.

10. I only saw the one

but she was HUGE. I can't get near the table; it's covered with a blanket and has one of those plush baskets under it, so it's completely private and easy to defend (only one way in and out). Eddie hisses at me whenever I get near it.
