Basically, it's the day that's for Paul Revere- or as the locals say, "Pauhl Revaaaahhh".
College students use it as yet another excuse to drink.

Odd, how the "liberal" state of MA is the only state that celebrates a PATRIOT'S DAY and * calls MA, basically, unAmerican.
He can FUCK OFF.

10. He may have created a new one but for the past hundred years or more

on the third Monday in April the people have celebrated Patriots Day which does commemorate Lexington and Concord. I used to work with a guy who would always take a couple days off around this time so he could join his re-enactment unit and head up there.
