I called in Eric from New Haven just a few minutes ago first time I've ever called a talk show of any kind. Did my spiel come off okay?

Don't think he was a congressman... He was introduced as a "Friend and Supporter of Tom Delay." Thats why I like Ed cause he doesn't take shit from anyone. =)

I was hoping he would bring up Lieberman's record on things like choice and the environment so I could explain that Shays, Simmons, and Johnson have the same views...

The two calls before me were calling against Lieberman too so there wasn't much to be said.

9. Pat from Connecticut again hit Lieberman again.

Over half of the listener calls today have been against Lieberman. Not a single supporter has called in.

12. How long were you on hold?

I tried calling Big Ed just after the election and I was on hold for almost an hour. I finally just hung up.

I was on hold for less than 10 minutes.

I called a week after the election when all the dems were still shell-shocked from the crime of the century.

Is that how you knew it was your turn? You counted?

When I was on hold, they kept coming on and said Ed will talk to me soon, but everytime he took a new caller, it sounded as if he were talking to me and I started talking, only to hear some other caller talking.

15. Well ya it was only two people before me.

But when I got on you could hear the difference between listening to the show on the phone and when I was actually on. There was a click and the audio became louder and clearer...

The two calls before me were talking about Lieberman so that is probably why I got on so fast being from CT... Though the screener didn't ask me what I wanted to talk about.
