I just got a job offer!

Last summer I interviewed at a company doing complex physics software...I was one of 3 finalists out of a few hundred applicants but I didn't get the job. They were a totally cool little place too.

They just emailed me asking if I am interested in the position - they're expanding and have a new opening!

This is too bad, since I totally would have taken that job last summer...I like my current company, except for the fact I'm stuck half time working on a missile-defense related project (only for a few more months, then I can move on).

The company president even posted that Jesusland/United States of Canada map up in the lunchroom after the election debacle back in Nov. Lots of liberal Dems around here :-)

Maybe I should check out their salary offer, although it'd have to be really, really worth my while to make me change.
