Poll question: How many internet boards have you been a regular on?

1. A lot!

First there was Quartz BBS. Then, do Usenet groups count? I was active on alt.alien.visitors and some other paranormal groups right around the time I acquired my screenname. After that, alt.parenting (I think that's the one). Then the Art Bell BBS when that existed--I was there around the same time John Titor was. Then for a while, I went to chatting and was a reg in the Unofficial Art Bell Chat until I got sick. At the same time I was involved in a ZADR RP on Yahoo Groups, and since I played Zim, I was there all the time. (Don't ask, it will disturb you!) I was on Smirking Chimp for a while but its interface bugged me and I'm weirdly picky. Now it's pretty much only here and MyToos.

but they got to leaning too far to the right so I left. There's two or three others I go to only occasionally.

but they got too right-wing and, well, stupid for my taste. Also I was a regular at GameFAQs for years.

7. Only about four or five non political sites...

Mostly entertainment oriented. Namely TheStraightDope.com, Fark.com and X-entertainment.com.

In all actuality..DU is the first message board I truly got involved with...

Oh, and I forgot...I used to hang around Bartcop.com a lot too...

a defunct, small "local" board inhabited by two or three right wing nut jobs a drug addled "liberal" and myself, a yahoo board connected with the struggle to save my local community radio station from a deadly infection of corporate type mental illness, this board, and Lonely Planet's Thorntree, though I haven't been over there in a while.

I was on SmirkingChimp for some time as well as posting on Gamefaqs.com. I check out both of those sites every now and then.
