He was a guy I went to h.s. with who was friends with a lot of the guys I still talk to. I wasn't close with him, but it's going to be really hard to see all those guys hurting :( 25 is too young, dammit.

16. Surfaces which don't filter water - pavement, for example.
Because so much land is paved, the water can't filter through the earth, and ends up collecting all kinds of pollutants. It causes all kinds of problems with the water table, most notably increased pollution in the water itself. Some cities have filtration systems, but many just pump runoff straight into lakes, creeks, and rivers.


It's okay, though... soon we'll all be able to just buy clean water from corporations. That'll help a whole lot, I'm sure.
