My theory on birthdays... its the one day we remember to say, essentially, "I am so glad that you were born, that you are here and you touch my life." Or for the one having the birthday... it marks a moment in time to remember how glad we are for living - for those happier moments in life and that we were there to experience them. Have enjoyed birthdays a whole lot more since I came to that philosophy - not about the material - but about the soul/spirit. :D Have fun!
