Yeah, when I would go visit my father he would always have it on his car radio. Luckily I was able to turn it off most of the time.
Two Limbaugh memories for you:
The first time I heard him, some dittohead called up and said "I have a question. How come colleges teach liberal arts, but not conservative arts?" Rush, to his credit, mumbled something about that being an alternate definition of "liberal", but the caller replied "Well, it does make you wonder, though." That was when I first asked my father "You really listen to this crap?"
I also heard him the day after the 1998 election, when the Republicans were dealt a significant blow in the House. Rush comes on the air, and acting all defiant, says "This is Rush Limbaugh, going nowhere." And then there was this really long pause, like he realized that he had just made a really bone-headed comment. That was when I asked my father "You still listen to this crap?"
