http://pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/trib/westmoreland/s_313444.htmlA 64-year-old woman said Monday that she was terrified by the adverse effects she suffered last month after she unknowingly ate a cookie laced with marijuana.
But the co-worker accused of giving it to her had nothing to say.
Ronald L. Thompson, 50, of 1748 Lincoln Ave., Latrobe, waived his right to a preliminary hearing yesterday on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and recklessly endangering another person.
Latrobe police allege Thompson gave Shirley Lisbon a cookie made with "marijuana butter" Feb. 25 while on a break at Westmoreland Plastics, on Gertrude Street, without telling her that it contained marijuana.
