So, I'm at home with a sick four-year-old....
And I'm noticing something that disturbs me.

Why are all the adult rabbits on "Max and Ruby" made up like brazen harlots?

2. Kids' TV scares me.
Not sure what's worse... Kids' TV or Adult Marketing TV (AKA HGTV and the Food Network)....

Both are insidious.

Good luck, and hope the kidlet feels better soon!

4. Max and Ruby is fun.
It could be worse-we're watching Backyardigans (my kid is four too).

13. Why would anyone make a children's show...
...about a 12-year-old prostitute and a Swedish gymnast?

It's highly upsetting.

And the closing theme sounds like "Barbie Girl" by Aqua.

9. I don't like Max and Ruby.
Every time I let my kids watch it, my 5-year-old daughter gets bossy like Ruby and my 3-year-old son starts talking baby talk like Max.

12. I don't blame you.
She doesn't get as bad as that. Our bad one is HigglyTown Heros. If something happens, she wants to do it too. Or she tries to model herself after Angelica from Rugrats. Now that's not pretty.

15. She really enjoys Dora.
And she used to love Liberty Kids when it was on PBS. She also loves Zoom on PBS (too bad they are cancelling it) and loves Postcards from Buster.
