William Pitt in London ( with some bragging rights )
My apologies to William for the delay in posting this.

William Pitt was in London yesterday with two things on his mind: Telling the truth about George W. Bush and his perfidious cronies; and, of equal importance, trying to find a television showing his beloved Red Sox going head to head with the Yankess of New York.

His talk was excellent. He spoke for over an hour on the War, weaving an engaging narrative of forged evidence and treasonous Whitehouse apparatchicks. The Question and Answer session yielded some incitefull questions and gratefully received answers.

Afterwards at dinner in the Chelsea Arts Center Will entertained us some more. However, there was something else on Will's mind: A baseball game. Some time after nine we piled out of the club and made our way to a sports bar in central London. There was a forbiding queue outside the bar and it did not look like we were going to get in anytime soon. However, we could see the game from the pavement* and a quick trip to the off license** sorted out our other needs ;-).

We settled down to watch the game.

We did manage to get ourselves into the bar but alas it was just in time to see the Yankee's take the game. It was time to get Will into one of London's famous black cabs and back to his hotel.

This was the first time I have met a fellow DUer and I hope it will not be the last.

6. A magnificent evening
marred only by the victory of the wrong team. Seeing Zimmer face-planted made up for that, however.

Trooper = bragging rights, and also = me forever in his debt.

I enjoyed reading about William in your neck of the woods...I too was upset by Zimmer charging after Pedro on Saturdays' Game intent to swing at him.

The Yankees came to Boston and sh*t in Fenway Park. There was no other way to beat them but play these antics. The fans were shut off on the beer and what happen to the groundskeeper by two Yankee players....all of it just shameful!

Today they play again after a rain out on Sunday, Go Red Soxes,go all the way and Play Ball show those Yankees' the spirit of all the good Boston Red Soxes Players before you...YAZ...The Hawk...George Scott..and the spirit of Ted Williams!

Love to Pedro...you did what you had to do.

Thanks for posting friend, my love to you and William....:loveya:
