1. I don't know if you can still get it, but

a while back you could sign up with NASA to get a download of a MONSTROUS file (24 x 36 inches at 300DPI) of this and some other really great Earth images. (You had to sign up so they could allocate bandwidth.)

Great stuff. Nice to see our tax $$ being used for educational (and cool) projects like this.
