I have an interview tomorrow night to get a fellowship. I'm more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. The fellowship won't pay for just but a fraction of my tuition (a little fraction, at that) BUT it'll be really cool just to have it. I had to write seven essays and now the interview. My hands are sweating just thinking about it.

Oh and get this: in two of the essays you had to do that bragging on yourself stuff ("describe your strengths...blahblahblah"). GAK! ASK SOMEONE ELSE to tell you! I can't do it.

Anywho. Then a mid-term exam Wednesday and the thesis intro due. I worked ALL freaking weekend on it. Time for bed.

I hope your week is good this week. Don't worry about those LG threads. I'm the one who accused him of metaphorically farting.

But seriously, in real life, if I get to be too much the center of attention, it embarrasses me. For real. I quickly back out of the spotlight. I don't know why. When some coworkers were giving me a baby shower years ago, I was EMBARRASSED TO GO. Why? Because *I* was the guest of honor, and that had never happened to me before and I didn't know if I could handle the attention. I had a little panic attack beforehand and my husband had to talk me down and get me to go.

Isn't that weird? I could freaking never be a celebrity. Never. I would spontaneously combust.

When I saw the title line to this thread, my eyes got big and I freaked out for a second. So there, I admitted it. One of my weirder characteristics.
