3. Sgt Pepper's because
in 1967 when I was 13, my father went apeshit when he heard it. I still have the album (mono). I could say that any Beatles album is my favorite album.

5. Revolver
Love the artwork on the cover. I remember the day my older brother got it, a cool, wet June day in 1966, just before the summer got going. I just stared at the intricate lines in the drawings, especially the hair.

And that first cut! "One-a tow-a thray-a..." Taxman!

9. With/Meet the Beatles set the tone for the rest of that decade
Even though it was based on a Lambert, Hendricks and Ross cover, I'll bet:

22. Some years ago, there were a lot of "theme" ties.
Particularly, there were several Beatles labeled ties (from Apple Corps.) I think I got them at Macy's. I also have a John Lennon "Imagine" tie.

About that time there were also Jerry Garcia, and Miles Davis lines. I haven't seen them recently. BTW, the Jerry Garcia ties were particularly ugly, and considering that you never saw him wear a tie that might have been his little joke. One person looking at the Jerry Garcia "collection" remarked, "So that's what it looks like when you take acid." Sorry to not be more help. Maybe a Google search?

8. The suite at the end of Abbey Road is the best
piece of music recorded in the 20th century. Basically the 2nd side of the album, I believe...

14. Beatles on the BBC
Live Beatles in their prime. My mother-in-law, who knew them in their Hamburg days says this is also her favorite album for pretty much the same reason.

15. Revolver!
That was just about when the LSD kicked in, and the frets disappeared from George's guitar. Those Vox amps knew their days were numbered, too!

She said "You don't understand what I said."
I said "No, no, no, you're wrong.
When I was a boy, everything was right,
Everything was right.
Now you're makin' me feel like I've never been born."

17. Beatles '65
It is their first trip into irony. It's so obviously tongue in cheek to me, especially "I'm a Loser." Hon. mention: "Mr. Moonlight."

A delicious harbinger of things to come.

21. Usually "Revolver" but sometimes "Rubber Soul".
Occasionally "A Hard Day's Night" or "With the Beatles".

Actually I don't like much after "Revolver". Flame away -
