3. Electric violin...right?
That IS a flashback...I only vaguely remember, though the album is stored away upstairs.

5. Darryl Way was their violinist
Although in retrospect I think Francis Monkman (keyboards) was the better composer.

Phantasmagoria is a wonderful album. They don't make 'em like that any more.

7. Yeah, I just had a flashback to 70's electric violin

and ethereal music. Curved Air, Jean-Luc Ponty, ELO, Rick Wakeman
(synthesizer)... all I need now is my Quadraphonic Stereo system.
And the albums of course... I have no idea what happened to mine.

8. Did you know
It's a Beautiful Day (David LaFlamme, violin)

Seatrain (Richard Greene, violin)

The Flock (Jerry Goodman, violin-- subsequently played in Mahavishnu Orchestra)

UK (Eddie Jobson, violin and keyboards-- after playing in Roxy Music since Stranded)

East of Eden (Dave Arbus, violin-- he played the outro solo on the Who's "Baba O'Riley")

String Driven Thing (Graham Smith, violin-- subsequently joined Van der Graaf Generator)

And some of my favorite stuff ever, Fairport Convention with Dave Swarbrick and Steeleye Span with Peter Knight.

6. "Not Quite The Same!"
Can't recall the exact lyric, but the guy went out walking with his doggy and saw a girl who made him feel soggy. Oh, HELL yes--been there, done that!
