Poll question: Who would you rather have at the Super Bowl half-time show?
Suppose you could either have Paul McCartney like they did this year, or suppose you could have Oasis but there would have been no FCC crackdown after the Janet Jackson "boobie sun" incident. Which would you choose?

2. You picked the FCC crackdown, too.
I can't believe this. And you call yourself a prevert.

5. You could have given another choice - neither of the above
As it is, it became yet another Oasis vs Beatles thread and it's getting old.

7. You have to make difficult decisions to be a patriot.

And a dedicated rock fan.

This one wasn't a difficult decision, though.

3. McCartney under any circumstances
He's still awesome.

The world would do well to sing along with his prose.

18. Oh, yeah!
all time favorite song. I want "Imagine" sung at my wake. Along with "What A Wonderful World" and Etta James' "At Last".
The world could really use "Imagine" right now.

8. I've been infatuated with Sir Paul
Since I was 5 when they came to the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. I remember watching it (somewhat).

No contest...he's a great performer. He sang better tonight than I heard him in awhile. Looked great, good theatrics too.

11. Kick.
The media's eyes are on DU sometimes, so we should let them know how to plan the Super Bowl.

14. Oasis is still together and playing dates.
http://www.oasisinet.com

They are probably the first band I had heard of that had a web site.

16. Don't care much for the FCC crackdown
but Oasis????? geez, no thanks. I try to keep up with what the young, hip, swingin' crowd does ;) , but I gotta admit, I've been boppin' around since yesterday singing "Drive My Car". I'm afraid those Gallagher lads just don't have anything quite that good.

17. The one good thing the FCC crackdown has done..
It made the producers abandon talentless "artists" whose only selling point is sex appeal, and produce a halftime show that actually kept me from changing the channel for the first time in years.
