A party animal, huh? I wear a Pennington a real lot. (A British driving cap.) I managed to find one that fits my beastie and we have his holiday picture taken with it on each year. Putting hats on dogs. How weird are we?

* 1 puppy, skinned and cleaned, cut into small parts
* 2 sweet onions, julienne style
* peeled carrots, 2-inch lengths
* whole new red potatoes
* onion soup mix
* 4 oz red wine such as merlot

Mix all ingredients in a large crockpot, and add enough water to cover.

Cook on low for 10 hours.

If puppy is unavailable, substitute anything cute and fluffy.
