6. She might.
Being an indie artists, she plays clubs all over the place if she can find one. It's all about the grassroots promotion!

I'm not sure of her tour schedule yet. If won the lotto tommorow, I'd bank roll a tour all over the place!

10. That would be great.
Thanks.

I hope this CD is the one that really breaks her out. She's got a good distribution deal this time around. She has a great fan base in Los Angeles and my fan club I set up for her has people all over the country and even some fans in Italy and Austria.

24. Ann Arbor?
Actually I'd love to live there, but live in a suburb of Detroit now. Maybe in a few years when the kids are in college we'll move there. We both love A2,

She also plays house concerts. It's all about gettin the word out.

In fact one of her new songs on the CD mentions Austin.

This is one of favorite pics of her. They opened for The Bacon (as in Kevin) Brothers.

Actually, it wouldn't matter to me from the looks of her. I'd definitely see her if she came to San Jose.

>>>Album Description
The third offering from awarding winning singer/songwriter and indie favorite, Cindy Alexander. A breathtaking emotional outpour from an artist who not only has solidified her voice as a singer and songwriter, but has also ensured her place among the best of our modern day troubadours. A blend of adult alternative tracks that will appeal to fans of Aimee Mann, Sarah McLachlan, Annie Di Franco and classics singer/songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King. Indie music made from the heart and not a corporation.<<<

Amazon and Tower have clips of songs from her first two CD's.

The new clips might be up on her web site soon.

And YES she might play SJ or nearby.

23. Both
In the last couple of years, she's played at several Border's stores and also at Best Buy. These were promotional gigs.

She's played a couple of clubs in SF.

I really hope she gets some gigs back in the city this year.

She is extremely talented. She reminds me of my favorite winger--Jonatha Brooke. What do you think?

26. I'm not familiar with Jonatha, I'll have to check her out.
Edited on Thu Feb-03-05 01:54 PM by ronnykmarshall
What hooked me was her stage presence and that she writes all of her own songs.

I've been following her since 2002 and there are so many songs that I've seen "grow up". There's a new song coming out "Angels and Demons" called "Immortal" that she wrote about the Columbine shootings. It was at first this acoustic song she would play now and then, but it really has turned into quite a powerful song. "Domino" was written by Cindy while she was watching the news when 1000 solder died in Iraq. This CD is a mix demos she recorded over the past 3 years and new stuff written in the past year.

I think her writing is amazing.

Her managment is very impressed with how the group has grown since I started it in 2002. It would be a big feather in my cap if some of you joined up!!
