A sad sight - who's seen Roy Clark's facelift?
Edited on Wed Jan-19-05 03:21 PM by Richardo
Caught the TimeLife "HeeHaw" infomercial the other night* and Roy Clark is hosting. Almost didn't recognize him - poor guy looks like he's in a permanent wind tunnel and some joker put two A-cup breast implants where his cheekbones used to be.

Wish celebs would just age gracefully. Bad cosmetic surgery makes things SO much worse.

* Sue me - I thought HeeHaw was funny. ;-)

On edit - been to Google but can't find a pic. You'll just have to believe me!

1. I saw Liberace shortly before he died.
He looked somewhere between hideous and downright scary. And it wasn't due to his general health condition.

11. How old is Wayne? I saw a snippet of that interview
Wayne looked like he was 30. No wrinkles across the forehead.

I shuddered. Wugh.

3. Thats a shame. I like Roy Clark.
He is one of the best guitar pickers I have ever seen. Great speed and skill.

I hated what he did to his looks between Grumpy Old Men movies.

16. We always enjoyed Hee Haw too.
There are some things about that show that I still find funny. Such as:

Where oh where are you tonight?
Why did you leave me here all alone?
I searched the world over, and thought I found true love
You met another and pfffffftttt!
You were gone!

Cracked me up every time! :D

What was that other song?

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all?

Oh, yeah. Back to Roy. I haven't seen him lately, but I really don't understand why people can't just age gracefully. Damn good guitar player, too.

Deep dark depression, excessive misery...
If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all
Glooooom, despair and agony on me....

(OMG I just typed that from memory! We WERE a Hee-Haw household :dunce:)

I'm not sure if the fact that we actually remember this stuff makes us pathetic, or not. Perhaps we are the new hip???
