5. Clear Channel owns the DC Station and a couple others
There was a story on it in the Sunday Wash Post - they haven't been making any money on the current format, so they figured they had nothing to lose. I know, it's funny that CC would end up broadcasting Air America.

They'll do it if it's more profitable.

6. She was raising a stink...
the other day. Apparently in Vermont, they 86'ed the entire conservative programming for Air America. She was pissed because it should have been everywhere, yet there was no publicity.
Kevin.

8. It's great that Air America keeps getting new affililiates. I just wish...
...they'd get one in the Hartford, CT area so I can listen all day in my delivery vehicle without losing the signal each time I drive under high tension wires or a bridge! That's what happens now as I have to pull in WLIB. (And no, AAR's New Haven affiliate doesn't get out anywhere near Hartford.)

It's frustrating as hell when somebody on AAR is in the middle of a good rant or a great interview, and the signal suddenly fades on me. So please, Air America, get a Hartford affiliate. We'll listen!!!
