I have just about lost faith in manatees

The thing is, if you post a picture of a puppy of kitty, people fall over themselves to kiss their monitors. I post a picture of these little guys,, and they get ignored.
It's just not right I tell ya.

And technically, there are a few people who weren't even thinking of manatees today, and by posting this it got people to think of them and that changed something in the world.

Actually, I read at yahoo that the manatees may have made a slight comeback this year as the constant hurricanes in Florida led to less boating.
