You could find all kinds of pipes,bongs and so on in my little town...Now it's impossible to find except in big cities.

4. When I was in Myrtle Beach

last week I was driving with my mother and I swear to you I saw a Baptist Church, a go-go bar, a fireworks stand and a head shop called 4:20 world (so I'm assuming it's a head shop) and then another church all within a 3 block strip. Hows that for strange!?!

My mother also told me that her father owned a head shop in the late 60's and early 70's

5. In Richmond, VA, at least a few years ago...

they sold them as "lamps", complete with a cord and socket

6. Waterbeds and stuff used to include a small pouch of tobacco with every

pipe. With coke spoons and hitters they included a small quantity of snuff.

and I used to LOVE walking out of that place with a huge bag with their name on it and revel in the dirty looks from the FReeper types
