Anybody see the "Lemony Snickett" movie? What did you think?

I liked it and 'would recommend it but I thought it had one fatal flaw - the young girl just didn't carry her role well.

I thought she was a little too sexy looking - someone like the girl in Harry Potter ("Hermoine")would have been much better.

This girls lips were way too siliconed up for her age, or so I thought. The boy was very good - also, the baby's comments were a little stupid.

Other than that it was pretty good and I usually can't stand Jim Carey.

1. Enjoyed it. The set design and art were spot on

and Meryl Streep just put me in the floor.

Loved the Dustin Hoffman cameo.

He has a supporting part in "Finding Neverland" which is pretty cool since he once played the most flamboyant Hook in the entire history of
Peter Pan productions.

2. I took 4 teenagers and they were disappointed

They complained that the story was not like the books.

I don't know because I didn't read them.

I thought it was a good movie but if you've read the books you may be disappointed
