Best MST3K Episode?
I'm going with "Girlstown." I am a Joel girl, but this was Mike, and it couldn't have been any better.

We could talk about shorts, too: "Mr. B Natural" and "Posture Pals" come immediately to mind...

Additions please?

Happy New Year, DU!

8. WAHRWOLF!
It's the shiz. Best riffing ever.

"This movie's number one fan."

"Albequerque. I can't believe I'm still in Albequerque."

And the closing song medley was pure gold.

15. my, my, my, my, Mitchell!
Besides the obvious significance of it being the episode in which Joel escaped the SOL by using the escape pod hidden in a box marked Hamdingers, it had so many great lines. "Baby oil?!"

I also love Catalina Caper. Never ever steal anything wet.

oooohhhhh MITCHELL!

Also, from Catalina Caper: "This just in: White Men Still on Top"
And, really, asie from it being a Tommy Kirk film, did Little Richard really have to do that movie?

Two of the best!
Giant Man-Eating Grasshoppers and a disembodied head that mind controlled people. The comedy on both was primo.

Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 12:10 PM by Patsy Stone
"The only one concerned is the music."

"It's my Yanni lick, Joel"
"OK, just hold it down until someone offers you a contract with Windham Hill."

"Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Yeah! Quit showing up!"

"Right now he's replaying the date in his mind, 'Where did I go wrong?'"

But a particular favorite was the one where it was supposed to be dark (involved a lot of teenagers driving around) but it was always broad daylight. And any of the Hercules ones.

43. 12 to the Moon!
I laugh all the way thru it every time I watch it.

My favorite scene is when the African navigator, watching the probe ship blow up with the two volunteers, says "sangay ally" whereupon Crow says that's African for "better them than me!".

Also the episode has 'Design for Dreaming' from GM. Probably the best short.
