What should the Washington Expos new name be?
The Senators again? The Beltway? The Nationals?

2. It's going to be The Nationals. But, I liked The Grays.
How about Monarchs? Use one of the old Negro League names. :-)

6. I like that one. Is it set in stone yet?
I always liked the Senators too but they already had two unsuccessful franchises using that name.

5. The Washington Insiders.
Leading off for the Insiders in the bottom of the fifth, the designated blowhard, number 2, George Will.

8. The Senators in honor of the names tradition
albeit not a great tradition but still a decades long one. Of course I'm biased - used to go to old Griffith Stadium as a kid.

20. Dick Cheney. A millionaire bloated, white, war profiteering, racist.
Picture a mascot dressed and made up to look like Unka Dick lobbing crackerjacks in bomb canister shaped packaging and telling the fans to go fuck themselves.

19. Senators -- I'm a traditionalist and ... then...
wouldn't "Damn Yankees" would be up-to-date? Doesn't the lead character play for the Senators? Not sure. Still, I vote Senators.

26. I'd love to see the Senators come back to life again...
D.C. was always a good baseball town; it was a shame that MLB abandoned it in the early 1970s.
