My sister found a skunk in the garbage bucket

4. I have regular visits from our neigborhood skunks...

...including frequent young ones-- they sometimes have babies under my house. My cats coexist with them peacefully. The skunks come up onto the back porch. My office opens onto the porch, so I can watch them if the light is on.

5. I love DU; it has definitely kept me sane during the election (and

especially afterwards).

My Dad has a funny expression: when we used to go on long trips and we'd smell something funny (like if we were driving behind a car that was expelling a lot of exhaust, for instance), he would say, "Skunk on the tail pipe!" Used to crack me up.

Yeah, don't piss off the skunk for sure.
