Please - somebody please explain the fascination the media has with her. I don't understand it.

What brought her to the public's attention? "The Simple Life"? The sex video her boyfriend was hawking?

Is she just an heiress, or is she a celebrity or cultural icon? She seems to have the same I.Q. as Jessica Simpson (below room temperature).

5. Funny thing...

I used to tutor some uber-rich Beverly Hills kids (Their mansion is 68,000 square feet on 10 acres in BH - ultra-obscene if you know about BH - the old mansion for William Randolph Hearst when he moved to LA - I charged them up the Wazoo all through grad school!). This family is tight with the Hiltons. The daughter told me that Hilton's parents hired a whole bunch of very expensive publicists and suddenly everyone knows who she is. Couple that with her out in the open partying and she gets known. Another funny thing. One hotty friend of mine was in Miami recently and Paris bumps into her and tells my friend that she likes her shoes. Paris asks to try them on - then she walks off with the shoes as if someone gave her a piece of gum or something....later that night my friend meets her again in a hotel room with a bunch of partiers...they were doing heroine...my friend bailed after that...heroine is overkill for my friend. Now if Paris were poor and black, then she would be arrested for theft of the shoes and jailed for the heroine...but she is rich and white....the rules do not apply!

9. Ooooooo - inside dish! I LOVE it!

Her parents hired publicists? That would explain why I'm getting sick of looking at her. She's not only on television, either. Open any fashion magazine and there's Paris, modeling for the Guess? clothing company. Pull up amazon.com, and there she is -- pedaling her new jewelry line.

It's not my intention to be cruel here, but the girl doesn't seem to have much going for her. She's not really that attractive - no ass and no chest (don't the Hiltons have a plastic surgeon on speed dial?)
She doesn't seem to be particularly bright and zero presence. I saw her in "Zoolander" and Conan O'Brian, and she didn't seem to have a hell of a lot to say or do.

If I were blessed with a daughter, I'd hope she'd wouldn't look to Paris Hilton as a peer role model (along with Britney Spears and the aforementioned Jessica S.).

11. I hate her

Yeah I she did use a racial slur against two African-American men at a party. She called them "dumb n***ers". She did deny this charge. Of course since she's seems like an ignorant bitch it wouldn't surprise me if she really did say that. I just dint understand why the fuck she became so goddamn famous, before 2003 I ain't even never heard of her. I don't find her attractive, she looks sick and pale. :puke: I also believe the Hilton family are Repukes.
