even in darkness, there appears to be some good
I am still saddened and yep angry over Kerry losing but there are some things I am proud of myself for. I am proud to have worked for John Kerry, proud to have gone to suburban Philly to canvass, proud to have canvassed neighborhoods, proud to have been a staunch Kerry supporter in class. Though I could not vote, I always in my political courses would be a Kerry advocate, everyone knew it, and I had a Kerry bumper sticker on my backpack and I would always advocate for the man. I managed to persuade the many 18 year olds I had in my classes through what I knew and talking with them personally that John Kerry should be our 44th president, and it seems to have worked, I found that many of these people did vote for Kerry. I when I went to my government class on thursday late because I had an orthodonist appointment that day went out to the parko in the rain expecting to get hell from my teacher for being wrong about the election, instead came in and was clapped for coming because it was expected I'd stay home out of despair, it really moved me. It's still such a shame that we lost but I am not ashamed to have been a Kerry supporter and advocate but more so very proud.

I am so like my peers in many ways but I have my differences, like anyone my age studies the crisis in Northern Ireland just for the hell of it.
