ARGH! Local baptist church in my neighborhood with loudspeakers!

I was listening to a lovely Frank Zappa recording with headphones, when I started hearing a weird noise. I thought it was just wacky special effects, until my wife asked me to turn down whatever I was listening to, as she's trying to get rid of a migraine. I look outside, and see a large van with big loudspeakers on the top, playing a recording encouraging people to come to their church, as well as Christian music, while their people are pamphleting up and down the street. So, I called the cops on them. :) It was bothering my wife, and it scared the cats.

Whether it's the asshole Christians and their noise and outdoor proselityzing, or the election candidates with their (@&*$^$(*@ vans with the loudspeakers on top or whatever. Anything louder than an ice cream truck should be illegal with a heavy fine.

BTW, thank you for your opinion on the Old 97s. I am completely into them, and if you haven't bought their most recent CD, you need to jump on it. :-)

Old 97s were GREAT at the Austin City Limits Festival.
