""His Majesty. King of Kings, my rock, my salvation, Jeee-heee-sus." And that's when the girls really melt."

When did MSNBC start running Onion articles?

3. It is bizarre
Listen to a christian rock song, replace "Jesus" with "Baby" and you have every other pop song:)

6. South Park made fun of this
There was a brilliant episode of South Park a while back that skewered the whole Christian Rock thing. It was hilarious, and free therapy for me (I'm a recovering evangelical).

8. Faith + 1
Best. South Park. Ever.

"I want to get down on my knees and start pleasing Jesus, I want to feel his salvation all over my face."

Stan: You don't even know anything about Christianity!
Cartman: I know enough to exploit it...

7. Most of those kids run into big problems later in life.
Especially when they reach middle and high school. A lot of these kids live in very isolated communities where there are only others who share the same beliefs and attitudes, only listen to Christian Rock, and only see the world through a very narrow field of vision.

Then, when they are forced to fly out a little in to the world, and see that there is indeed an entire world out there, they can't handle it too well.

12. Sister Act LOL
It's a cheesy movie but I just love it for some reason. I think it's because I watch TBN all the time and those pentacostal/Assemblies of God/"slain in the spirit" types kill me. Vegas is at least honest.
