Poll question: Will the Miami Dolphins be the only franchise to.....
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 04:40 PM by Champ
ever go undefeated in the regular season and go winless in the regular season? So far the 2004-05 Miami Dolphins are 0-6 with a tough schedule ahead of them.

1. The terminology should be "defeated," as in "going defeated"

2. I was thinking the same thing!
We've got the nice, compact "undefeated" but no single word to describe the opposite.

"They're going defeated"

I like it.

5. Try "winless"
but they do have Arizona and Buffalo at home, plus the S.F. 0.49ers, scheduled, so it's probably a moot point.

4. their schedule
1 Sat Sep 11 Tennessee
2 Sun Sep 19 at Cincinnati
3 Sun Sep 26 Pittsburgh
4 Sun Oct 3 NY Jets
5 Sun Oct 10 at New England
6 Sun Oct 17 at Buffalo
7 Sun Oct 24 St. Louis
8 Mon Nov 1 at NY Jets
9 Sun Nov 7 Arizona
10 BYE WEEK
11 Sun Nov 21 at Seattle
12 Sun Nov 28 at San Francisco
13 Sun Dec 5 Buffalo
14 Sun Dec 12 at Denver
15 Mon Dec 20 New England
16 Sun Dec 26 Cleveland
17 Sun Jan 2 at Baltimore

They get to play Buffalo again, and Arizona and SF aren't too hot, but as impotent as the Dolphins have been, I can see it happening.

6. No...they'll win a game or two...
only because they aren't getting blown out in any games... They'll slip a few wins in...
