Does anyone have Asthma?
I was recently DX with it. I have 2 strange episode in the last week..ONE today. My chest constricted, pain and had shortness of breath AFTER I was talking with someone about the election for an hour.......WAS THIS AN ASTHMA ATTACK? I understand there is a connection B/T Asthma & stress??

1. I have asthma but
you sound like you had an anxiety attack in which your chest can close up making it difficult to breathe. It could also be stress. Check with your doctor.

2. Sometimes I feel that happens, and the more I think about it, the
worse it feels!! On the other hand, it could have just been anxiety.

Did you have other symptoms of an attack? Mucous, a metallic taste (I seem to get that)?

4. no other symptoms that I remember......
I lied down for 10 minutes and it passed. Do anxiety attacks and stress come on together?

3. It depends on the kind of asthma
there are several different kinds each with different reasons for onset.


Arguing for an hour? You might have exercise induced asthma in which it would be an attack.
