1. Nope. Reeve is a new round.
Leigh, Cooper (the astronaut) and Dangerfield.
Now it's Reeve and Caminiti the 'Roid-Ranger...

2. Is Cooper as famous as the other two.
And should film stars be grouped differently?

3. Cooper was one of the original Mercury 7 - He was a legend
I'm really shocked by Ken Caminiti's death. Good grief, 41!

Christopher Reeve's death really saddens me. He'd recently gotten a "lung pacemaker" that would eletrically stimulate his diaphragm to contract so that he could breath on his own. For the first time since his accident he could SMELL! Can you imagine? That's not one of the things you'd think you would lose, but you don't smell things when you're on a respirator.

5. Absolutely
For some of us, Gordo was even more. Not to disrespect Janet, Rodney, Chris or Ken.

And they really don't die in threes. One dies, you've been hearing all your life that they die in threes, so your brain goes into "they die in threes" mode - doesn't matter whether the third one happens along in two months, or five die in a week, your brain wraps itself around it and says "yup, they go in threes."

7. If you grew up when "The Right Stuff" was more than a movie...
He sure was.
Gordon Cooper, Scott Carpenter, John Glenn, the others...

Astronauts were to us like the "winner" of "Survivor" is to today's kids...

4. They die in Ones. But sometimes three Ones are close together.

6. Yes...
you are right. They do die in three's.. I have seen it for 63 years now... amazing... Father, Son, Holy Ghost ... I suspect that is the "reasoning" if there is one...
