President Sean Reynolds to Keep Citizens Healthy Citizens greet the new President outside the White House. In his first press conference, President Sean Reynolds presented a balanced budget to the American people.
The first item discussed in the press conference was the President's first priority in the budget. "We are the only major civilized nation in the world that doesn`t offer free health care to all. We cannot have that. Our people should have health care, no matter what their money intake is. Until that is more then just a dream, we as the government must pour more funding into making the dream a reality. ," the President said.
The President's budget called for 21% to fund education; 2% to support the military; 21% to be spent on crime prevention; 27% to fund the environment; and 29% to finance health care.
The President explained why less money was given to certain budget items. "Our nation has a reputation of being a dictator to the world. It is my belief that we better plan around our nations people, instead of using that money to fund a military that is not needed at the time. Yes terrorism is there, but that money can be better used to make sure that we are safe at home, instead of sending our people off to other lands, where they wont be safe.," the President explained.
President Sean Reynolds Names Top AdvisorsDuring the news conference, the President also named his advisors, selecting Dr. Teresa Thermometer, Thomas Teacher, and Will Treehugger.

While we enrich their minds, we must make sure that the nation they grow up to lead will be clear of pollution, and abundantly pure. They need a good environment, not only in the class room, but outside. ," the President announced.
On concluding his press conference, the newly sworn-in President of the United States continued to perform his first full day of duties.
