Have any of you bought "Fable" for the XBox?

I did, on Thursday. :)

It's by far the best RPG I have ever played! I started the game as an evil man, and haven't turned to the good side ever since, hence my screen name here on the DU. :evilgrin:

One of the sweetest things about this game is that you can go into a bar and pick-up women (and even men, if you like). You can then go out with them and eventually get married to them (I have four wives in four different towns. That's allowed in the game as long as you don't get caught ;)).

The graphics and the sound of this game are the best I've ever seen and heard, ever, in any game for any system.

As for the controls, it's quite similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time for the N64. You can learn all the controls in a 1/2 hour to an hour. It's pretty easy.

I've played the game for 16 hours already, and I probably won't be done playing it for another 16. :)

I highly recommend everyone who has an XBox to get this game. It's rated "M" for Mature, in case you're wondering.

It's fantastic. I have limit my time on it because it's complete digital crack. I'll never get anything done if I don't set myself a limited amount of time a day to play.

Love the music. Danny Elfman did the opening music. The rest of the score through the game seems to be on par with his quality. Terrific voice acting too.

Like you said it has easy to learn controls and beautiful graphics.

I'm playing "Good" O8) first then I'll play through as "Evil" :evilgrin:

I'm betting this game will keep me easily occupied until Halo 2 releases
