Will Six Feet Under be back next season? <possible spoiler>

It seemed like a series finale as opposed to a season finale.

Lisa's murder is solved.
Nate tells Brenda that he wants to marry her and have a baby.
Claire finds love with Brenda'a brother.
David faces his tormentor and moves on.

The only aspect left open is Ruth's husband seems to be having a schizophrenic episode.

I hope they bring it back and it wont SUCK.

I never had HBO but was bored one weekend and rented all of season 1.
Which season's cliffhangers are you referring to ? (I'm not sure how long it's been on the air)

2. End of second season.

And I expected actual "cliffhangers", but it seems to be wrapped up with the exception of a couple minor scenarios.

3. All I know is

James Waterston signed to do six episodes and, as of my count, was only seen in 2. I'm hoping there's another season so I can see him (yep, I'm a tad bit prejudiced in favor of actors named Waterston).

4. I was worried about the same thing...

it just wasn't a "normal" season cliffhanger at all. Everything seemed tied up. Plus, Peter Krause (Nate) is starting to appear in more motion pictures (I think two are coming up). What a bummer! However, I do wonder where else they can go with the characters.
