DU music fans: New group is getting a LOT of press

I can't say that I stay current at all with the music scene (not near what I used to) but I can't believe the amount of press and hype that I heard and read about this new (or new to me) group over the weekend. They must really have something-every other person was saying that either they needed to be gotten rid of (a scourge on society) and every other person were claiming constitutional grounds for keeping them aroud (a 1st Amendment thing I think).

Anyway the name of the group is (I hope I got the spelling right on this)--"A Salt Weapons Band". Kinda odd name but hey the kids these days huh?


Anyone heard of them or know anything about them?

The Semi-Automatics(for the people) They added some new members too. Scott "Bayo" Netlug, Ben "Fold" Ingstock and Carl "Flash" Surpressor.

With their revamped lineup and new look I think they're going to make a lot of noise, shoot straight to top of the charts. No misfires for these guys, they're going to have multiple hits.

I hear they are a real killer band. Not really my kind of thing, but some folks say they are a lot of fun. You know the critics will be gunning for them that's for sure.
