Bush Bots

Describe the biggest Bush Bot you have ever met (in person).

I met a middle aged woman once who would drone on and on about how much she "thanked God that George W. Bush was president on September 11th" an that that was evidence that God chose him for the presidency (the American people certainly didn't).

I also had a fair number of students last semester who believed that anti-war demonstrators "hated America" and that all criticism of the president should cease as soon as war starts.

listens to Rush all the time, FoxNews etc. My daughter can't believe that we're from the same family. Thank God she takes after me and is more progrressive.

3. My husband's family

His mother listens to michael savage on the radio and loves him! I'm not going to go into what his whole family believes but every day I am so glad that they live on the other side of the country.

6. 3 of my best friends...

My best friend since we were 5 years old is a diehard pubbie, I pointed out they only are for old rich white men and he replied "Thats what I intend to be one day".

Oh well. At least he put his money where his mouth is (no pun intended) and joined the Army, which puts him well ahead of all his chickenshit heroes.


My other 2 close friends are identical twins, and they are more along the lines of the "We shouldn't question the president no matter what" vein, but they're also borderline fundies so I guess they're just accustomed to doing what the BossMan says without questions....
