Least Likely Sequels?
My pick used to be Easy Rider, but there's actually a script out there about Fonda coming back to Earth as an angel. NO KIDDING.

I want to hear your picks before I add mine.

5. Actually, I think a film could be done off of that idea
A non-traditional war movie that starts when the battle is over and is all about the aftermath of war. It could be done.

14. Actually, one has been written....
The movie "Gettysburg" was based on the novel "The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara. Shaara passed away, and his son Jeff continued his work, writing the excellent novel "Gods and Generals" as a prequel to "Killer Angels". The movie was a box-office flop.

However, Jeff Shaara also wrote a sequel to his father's book, titled "The Last Full Measure", which continues the chronicle of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain's service in the Civil War. Shaara's a wonderful storyteller, and his research is very well done.
