woohoo winmx rocks
Now why didnt I have this as my file sharer before :shrug:. I found Adagio for Strings easily and Ive been looking for that song ever since 60 mins showed the war dead, its a pretty song.

1. That's the first music I heard on Sept 12, 2001...
...after 24+ hours of continuus news coverage after the WTC attacks. CBC 2 (classical/jazz) finally resumed their music programming, and played Lots of Barber and Lizst, and other sombre pieces.

It's also the music for Willem DaFoe's death scene in "Platoon".

Barber's work is really fucking pwerful--I can't listen to any of it without tearing up, especially after 9/11.

3. Hey Ive never seen platoon, you gave it away
:cry: Its ok, I'll forget. Barber is magnificant, that song makes me wanna cry. I need to get my iPod repaired so I can put it on, this song just makes me think of those who have died in Bush's wars and all wars, god :(.

7. make sure
that you've got a good connection.

One night, I was downloading songs in under 2 minutes apiece. Sometimes it takes an hour. Depends on traffic at both ends and the node.

So I can have it on my iPod, I have a lot of stuff from my CDs on MP3 because I have it on my iPod.
