"A stunning preoccupation with Select Comfort"
I would really like to get one of these, if it weren't for their obnoxious ads...

1. My wife and I got a Select Comfort king bed last year...
I know, the commercials are indeed obnoxious, and, to make matters worse, Rush is one of their advertisers (although so is Garrison Keillor, to balance it out a bit).

I have to say that, after sleeping on one of these for a year now, I am thoroughly sold on this contraption -- it is great!!! I am 6' 5", and have had a history of back injuries, and this bed has been absolutely terrific in every way.

A shameless plug from a soul who has absolutely nothing to gain by saying nice things about Select Comfort beds! :boring:

3. After reading a post recently on how much many men HATE pillowtop
Edited on Fri Aug-27-04 01:53 PM by hlthe2b
mattresses (which I don't have), I may have to give SC a look when I get back in the market. I always thought those new pillowtops would be wonderful and I still don't quite understand why men apparently hate them. Perhaps having the choice of modifying firmness does make sense.

Question for whoever can answer. Are these Select Comfort matresses really heavy? Somewhere I got that impression, which might be a problem if you move somewhat frequently.
