Just using the in-love-with-someone-who's-a-lesbian thing as a metaphor. It was pretty great up until Amy suddenly decides she's bi. I never bought it.

And the whole Jason-Lee-in-love-with-Ben thing was just as ludicrous.

My bad, I only saw the movie once (once was enough). I thought she was with guys first (which bugged Ben so much, another sexist element in the film), then switched teams. Didn't know she considered herself bi before meeting Ben.

I always assumed "being bi" means a current state of sexuality, not a sexual history.
