The Worst Movie Ever was on TV today.
It doesn't matter what alternatives you nominate, the Worst Movie Ever is the 1970 version on Ned Kelly featuring Mick Jagger.
There is no comparison. It is the William Shatner's Singing Career of filmic history.

1. But what about "Night Of The Lepus"?
This epic featured the thespian genius of DeForest Kelley as he battled 400-pound radioactive bunnies in the Nevada desert.

5. Arguably the best sentence, definitely the worst movie!
Unless maybe, just maybe, it was John Agar's classic "Zontar, Thing From Venus"

Then there's "Eeargh", about a thawed caveman popping up in suburban Southern California, circa 1960. It features this deathless bit of dialogue:

"Look, it's a footprint!"

"Yes, it is a footprint! There's the heel and there's the toe!"

7. What about 'Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter'?
Or 'Zoltan, Hound of Dracula'?
Or Roman Polanski's 'The Fearless Vampire Hunters'?

18. Wasn't it "The Fearless Vampire Killers"? On another note . . .
"Zoltan" rocks - incredibly awful! And as long as we're discussing Satanic canines, don't forget "Devil-Dog: Hound of Hell"!

24. If by "Eeargh" you mean "Eegah"...
Edited on Sun Aug-22-04 12:38 AM by asthmaticeog
I adore that execrable piece of shit. That awful Arch Hall, Jr. song that brilliantly rhymes "Valerie" with "Gallery" and "Salary" over and over and over and over and over... That Awful Arch Hall, Jr. himself, looking' all like Dennis the Menace with an Alien face-hugger on him... the probability that it's the direct conceptual ancestor of "Encino Man"... it's so damn wretched that there's not a thing wrong with it.

But, come on. Helen Slater spends much of the movie dressed in saucy-schoolgirl gear.

10. Plan 9 is intentionally bad, mind.
Or, at least, it doesn't take itself seriously like 'Ned Kelly' does.
So far as 'Gigli' goes, I haven't seen it. Thank God.

13. Or Maybe "Warlock Moon"?
Edited on Sat Aug-21-04 11:48 PM by rwenos
My college buddy's dad was "beheaded" in that one.

Filmed in Livermore, California, in 1975. Premiered there too. Unclear if it ever was shown elsewhere.

It must be seen to be believed.
Not so much actors, as people with
too much spare time.

35. Very cheaply made.
Bad script. Horrible scenery. It was not a bad premise, but they could have done the movie so much better.

And as to the worst movie vote, Battlefield Earth gets my vote any day...or perhaps Anaconda.

Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! for one.

I think the most awful film I ever, ever saw, though, was one called Liquid Sky. Blech! What a piece of shit that film was.

How about Chopper Chicks in Zombietown?

We own it. We haven't watched it. (I'm a self-taught very marginal Esperantist.)
There could very well be a William Shatner's Singing Career of filmic history, starring William Shatner.

36. I respect your opinion, but "Gigli" stands alone...
as the most jaw-droppingly horrible motion picture ever made. I can only believe it was intentional, though, and Mick Jagger probably tried to do a good job with "Ned Kelly."
